Gauntlet Arms "Hunter" High Profile 15" LR-308 M-Lok Freefloat Handguard

One of the most critical components of any LR-308 custom build is the handguard. In recent years freefloat handguards have increased in popularity. The freefloat handguard covers the barrel and is attached to the upper receiver via a barrel nut. The handguard serves many functions in an LR-308 build kit such as protecting the shooter's hand from being burned by the barrel, offering the shooter something to grip to help steady the weapon, can function as the attachment point for sights/optic, can have additional accessories attached, and adds to the aesthetic appeal of the build.

About This Handguard: The 15" High Profile M-Lok Freefloat Handguard from Gauntlet Arms features an M-Lok rail mounting system and a full top rail.

QD: Without needing to purchase extra accessories and mounting points for slings the Gauntlet Arms handguard comes with 4 QD mounting points for quick attach and detach of slings.

Quad Rail: The "Hunter" Handguard features a 2" section of quad-rail at the end for simple attachment of Lights, Laser Systems, & Bipods.

Cuts: Slim - This 15" High Profile M-Lok Freefloat Handguard from Gauntlet Arms Handguard is designed with large filet shapes cut into the handguard. This method not only improves the aesthetic of the handguard but keeps it lightweight without affecting the strength or function of the handguard.

Finish: To maintain corrosion resistance the "Hunter" handguard is treated with a Type 3 hardcoat anodizing in black.

Material Of Handguard: The Gauntlet Arms 15" High Profile Free Float Handguard is precision CNC machined from a high-quality 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum billet.
