Aero Precision EPC-9 9mm/.40 Caliber Threaded Upper Receiver with LRBHO Mechanism Installed - Cerakote FDE

Upper Receivers mount and house the barrel, handguard, and gas system in an AR-15 or LR-308/AR-10. Mil-Spec upper receivers are made to 'Military Specification' and are meant to either match or exceed the military requirements imposed onto the design for its service rifles. Featuring a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail section on the top for mounting Optics and Iron Sights a Brass Deflector and a Standard Forward Assist section.

About this Upper: This upper AR-15 receiver features a standard 'Mil-Spec' design made out of Forged 7075-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum. With a Standard rifle cartridge size ejection door. Made by Aero Precision, the EPC-9 is precision CNC machined and ready for your next build!

Material: 7075-T6 Aluminum - 7075-T6 Aluminum is a high-strength alloy metal with great ductility, toughness, and resistance against fatigue. 7075-T6 was standardized for use in Aerospace equipment and aircraft. The Suffix T6 is a temperament treatment to increase the overall toughness and strength of the Aluminum. 7075-T6 Aluminum was chosen for the AR-15 platform for its ease of manufacturing, lightweight properties, and strength.

Style: Mil-Spec - Mil-Spec is the standard for the United States Military for reliability, commonality, reduced cost, and meeting the requirements of a service rifle. 'Mil-Spec' is the essential technical requirement for military-unique materiel or substantially modified commercial items.

Finish: Cerakote FDE - The ceramic coating benefits the firearm by providing and enhancing physical components including Improving the wear and tear over time. Providing abrasion, corrosion, and chemical resistance. Improving strength and durability.

Top Section: Flat Top Rail w/ T-Marks- This upper receiver features a full 1913 Picatinny rail for the additional Optics installation and Iron Sights, T-Marks will allow you to replace zeroed optics and have them retain zero by placing them in CNC marked rail sections. The T-Marks are painted in white.

Anti-Rotation Tab Compatibility: This upper receiver will allow the installation of handguards with anti-rotation tabs incorporated into their design.
