The handguard is an essential piece to any AR-15 custom build. Some of the most popular types of handguards are the freefloat handguards. These types of handguards cover the barrel of the gun and attach to the upper receiver by a barrel nut. Handguards on an AR-15 build perform many crucial functions. One of these functions is that of protecting the shooter's hand from the heat of the barrel. The handguard also provides something to hold on to which gives increased stability to the shooter. Each handguard comes with attachment points for sights/optics while still saving space for additional accessories to be attached which can add to the aesthetic appeal of the build.

Cuts: In order to keep structural integrity intact while still saving weight, wicked wing cuts were designed into this handguard.

Material of Handguard: Due to the need to have light yet strong handguards, the Unique AR AR-15 freefloat handguard is constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum extrusion.

Barrel Nut: All Unique AR handguards come with a high quality steel barrel nuts and necessary mounting hardware.

Made in USA: This Unique AR Handguard is proudly made in the USA by machinists who take pride in their work.

Finish: Type 3 hardcoat anodizing is used with the Unique AR handguard to increase corrosion resistance.
