This Aegis Lightweight Full Build Kit from Davidson Defense is a robust AR-9 platform, chambered in 9MM. It features an 11-inch high-performance steel barrel, finished with a durable nitride coating. The barrel has a medium profile and a 1:10 twist rate, optimized for accuracy. Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum, the upper receiver is both lightweight and strong, with an anodized finish for added protection. Complementing this setup is a freefloat M-Lok handguard made from aircraft-grade aluminum. The assembly includes an 8620 alloy steel bolt carrier group, also finished with nitride for resilience. A 9mm flash hider A2 bird cage is included, threaded at 1/2x36. Additionally, this kit comes with an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable pistol stabilizing brace made from nylon reinforced polymer.
